Analytics Engineer, GFCO Analytics

About this role

Coinbase is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines and models supporting customer experience and compliance operations. You'll develop trusted metrics, create self-serve analytics solutions, and enable stakeholders to make faster decisions with reliable data.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines for CX operations, compliance reporting, and customer insights
• Partner with CX Operations, Compliance, and Product teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
• Build dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools that provide visibility into performance and compliance health
• Implement data quality and governance standards including testing, monitoring, and documentation
• Automate recurring data workflows and reporting processes to enable self-serve analytics
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to align on best practices and infrastructure

• SQL and data pipeline development
• Modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, cloud data warehouses)
• Data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas)
• BI/visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar)
• Stakeholder communication and translating business needs to data solutions
• Generative AI application with human oversight
• 3+ years analytics/data engineering experience
• Customer experience or compliance domain knowledge
