About this role

Build end-to-end stablecoin payment features for Coinbase's merchant platform, owning the full stack from Go backend services and gRPC APIs to React/Next.js checkout components. You'll work on payment workflows, onchain settlement via Temporal, and observability instrumentation in a remote-first, high-impact environment.

What you'll do

  • Deliver full-stack features across Go backend services and React/Next.js merchant checkout, including API design, database migrations, and TypeScript integrations
  • Build and optimize buyer checkout UI with payment links, embeddable components, and wallet connection flows (WalletConnect, wagmi/viem)
  • Implement durable payment workflows using Temporal for settlement, refunds, and reconciliation against PostgreSQL
  • Instrument systems with structured logging, metrics, and Datadog traces; participate in on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to integrate Payment Acceptance into the broader Coinbase platform
