Fullstack Software Engineer
About this role
Collective is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to build and scale the accounting platform that powers their business-for-one services. You'll own features end-to-end across the product stack, working with banking integrations, transaction pipelines, and reconciliation systems while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate development.
What you'll do
- Build and ship features across member-facing and internal accounting product experiences
- Develop and maintain integrations with banking and accounting partner APIs
- Improve transaction data pipeline reliability, observability, and accuracy
- Own well-scoped features end-to-end from design through deployment and iteration
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and accounting teams to translate workflows into software
- Leverage AI-powered development tools daily to enhance productivity and code quality
What they're looking for
- Fullstack development (Python, Django, React, or similar frameworks)
- Third-party API integration and data integration experience
- AI developer tools and code agents (hands-on, production use)
- SQL and data warehouse familiarity (BigQuery preferred)
- Product thinking and UX sensibility
- End-to-end feature ownership and shipping
- Clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fintech or accounting domain knowledge preferred
