Software Engineer (New Grad)

About this role

Collective is seeking a junior software engineer to build financial products for self-employed individuals and small businesses. You'll work full-stack on core platform features, incorporating AI/LLM technologies, while learning from experienced engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What you'll do

• Deliver end-to-end feature implementations from design through launch that impact solopreneur financial outcomes
• Integrate generative AI and LLMs to automate financial workflows and create intuitive user experiences
• Develop across the full stack using Python/Django and React/TypeScript
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into impactful solutions
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and planning sessions to improve engineering practices
• Learn from senior engineers while developing expertise in a high-growth environment
