About this role

Commure seeks a Fullstack Software Engineer to design and implement healthcare data integrations between their AI-native platform and 40+ Electronic Medical Records systems. You'll work on HL7-based data flows, leverage LLM technology for EHR automation, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards while delivering high-impact solutions that directly improve patient care delivery.

What you'll do

  • Design and build integration solutions between the platform and third-party healthcare systems (EHRs, insurance providers) with focus on performance and reliability
  • Use LLM technology to automate reverse-engineering of electronic health records and improve integration efficiency
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to define integration requirements and prioritize work based on business needs
  • Own end-to-end integration workflows from design through deployment and post-launch monitoring in production
  • Ensure all integrations meet healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) and work with security teams on data protection
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve integration issues, and implement monitoring systems for production reliability
