About this role
Commure is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Air AI team, which builds intelligent documentation and clinical workflow automation tools embedded directly into healthcare systems. You'll develop scalable backend systems and AI-powered features that help clinicians manage documentation, patient interactions, and administrative tasks across their platform serving 500+ healthcare organizations.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable backend systems powering healthcare AI features, integrations, and reporting infrastructure
- Build production-grade LLM and AI-powered features that clinicians use in real clinical environments
- Develop fullstack solutions with Python backend and TypeScript/React frontend across documentation and clinical assistant products
- Lead technical planning for new features, balancing clinical usability, data integrity, and business impact
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to ship reliable solutions
- Deploy and iterate quickly in a fast-moving environment with daily shipping cycles
