About this role

Commvault seeks an experienced Strategic Client Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor for major Oil & Gas accounts in Texas. You'll drive complex, multi-product sales cycles by building champion relationships, translating business goals into technical solutions, and partnering with sales and product teams to deliver measurable value.

What you'll do

  • Build and expand technical relationships with key champions across security, backup, cloud, and AI teams in strategic accounts
  • Partner with Account Executives to implement national account plans and drive strategic initiatives
  • Lead solution design, bid preparation, and technical delivery for large strategic accounts
  • Conduct technical workshops, demos, and business reviews to scale impact across accounts
  • Support competitive sales motions by identifying differentiation and influencing evaluation criteria
  • Advocate for customer needs to Commvault product and engineering teams based on field experience
