About this role
Commvault seeks an experienced Strategic Client Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor for major accounts in the Upper Midwest, guiding complex enterprise sales cycles and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders. You'll blend technical expertise with business strategy, partnering with sales teams to drive measurable value across data protection, security, and cloud solutions.
What you'll do
- Build and expand technical relationships with key champions across security, backup, cloud, and AI teams within strategic accounts
- Partner with Account Executives to implement national account plans and execute strategic initiatives
- Design solutions, prepare bids, and coordinate delivery as the technical owner for multiple large accounts
- Lead technical workshops, demos, and business reviews to influence buying groups and shape customer requirements
- Support competitive sales motions by identifying product differentiation and influencing evaluation criteria
- Advocate for customer needs to internal product and engineering teams based on field experience
