Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Concourse is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to enhance the deployment and performance of AI agents for corporate finance teams. This role combines finance expertise with technical skills to optimize products, solve client problems, and drive user engagement across multiple platforms.

What you'll do

• Optimize AI and prompt performance for finance applications.
• Debug technical and data issues using SQL and APIs.
• Create and analyze dashboards to track customer behavior and product usage.
• Refine go-to-market strategies through customer insights.
• Design effective onboarding and training experiences for finance teams.
• Develop frameworks for customer health and proactive account management.

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in strategic finance or finance operations
• Strong understanding of financial statements and workflows
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and debugging
• Familiarity with BI tools and data warehouses
• Excellent communication skills with finance executives
• Experience with finance systems like QBO or NetSuite
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments
• Experience with AI outputs and onboarding processes (preferred)
