Quality Engineer: Accounting

About this role

Condor seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of its financial intelligence platform for clinical trial operations. You'll blend accounting expertise with test automation to validate complex financial workflows, protecting high-stakes decision-making in biopharma R&D and finance.

What you'll do

• Review product requirements and designs for accounting correctness and financial edge cases
• Design and maintain automated test coverage for accruals, allocations, and contract-driven financial logic
• Build end-to-end UI and API tests for critical financial and customer workflows
• Identify accounting risks and gaps early using domain judgment and analytical thinking
• Perform manual testing for complex or novel financial scenarios requiring accounting expertise
• Partner with support and stakeholders to translate real-world issues into automated test coverage

• Clinical trial accounting or contract-based cost structures
• Audit preparation and auditor interaction
• Test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
• JavaScript and/or Python programming
• ERP and accounting system experience
• Requirements analysis and risk identification
• API and UI testing
• CI/CD workflows
