Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide support and ensure the safety of individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This role involves direct patient care, documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR), and contributing to a supportive and respectful environment. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to improving access to care and making a positive impact on people's lives.
What you'll do
- Maintain safety of individuals and staff
- Assist patients with daily living activities
- Conduct security screenings and provide patient orientation
- De-escalate agitated individuals and utilize restraint techniques when necessary
- Document services and interactions in the EHR
- Monitor patient status and ensure cleanliness of the facility
