This role focuses on providing immediate crisis care, assessing patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have strong crisis intervention skills and a commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
What you'll do
- Assess patients and document relevant information, including triage and behavioral/physical health issues.
- De-escalate potentially aggressive situations and provide patient education.
- Administer medications and accurately transcribe provider orders.
- Participate in treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Document Seclusion/Restraint incidents and participate in debriefings.
- Complete nurse-to-nurse handoffs and assist with wound care as needed.
