About this role
Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide immediate access behavioral health crisis care. In this role, you’ll assess patients, document critical information, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. You'll also educate patients and families, utilize crisis intervention techniques, and ensure safe and effective medication administration.
What you'll do
- Assess patients and document triage, behavioral, physical, and substance abuse issues.
- De-escalate potentially aggressive situations and provide patient education.
- Administer medications accurately and perform chart checks.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and manage seclusion/restraint protocols.
- Perform nurse-to-nurse handoffs and provide wound care as ordered.
