Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About this role

Conviva is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge customer needs and product delivery by managing high-stakes Proofs of Concept through to product decisions. You'll translate ambiguous requirements into structured delivery plans, work closely with engineering teams, and apply analytical rigor to determine whether initiatives become core product capabilities or are sunset.

What you'll do

• Convert customer requirements into structured PRDs with clear acceptance criteria and success metrics
• Manage POC-to-product delivery loops with scope prioritization and structured decision-making
• Partner with Engineering to execute build-deploy-measure-iterate cycles
• Define user workflows, metric definitions, and data models that reflect customer intent
• Translate complex system behavior into compelling narratives for technical and executive audiences
• Identify execution gaps and drive formal decisions on productization, standardization, or sunsetting
