Software Engineer (Back-end and Full-stack)

About this role

CorePlan is hiring backend and full-stack engineers to build scalable cloud-native software for mining operations. You'll design APIs, optimize databases, and deliver high-performance features in a product-led SaaS environment based in Perth.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs for mining operations platforms
• Architect data models and optimize database performance for complex datasets
• Build and maintain microservices integrating with drilling equipment and third-party systems
• Own full-stack features from UI through backend integration (full-stack role)
• Implement security practices and ensure data integrity across systems
• Drive performance optimization and reliability for 24/7 mission-critical operations

• TypeScript/Node.js or Python
• API design and distributed systems architecture
• PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• AWS cloud deployment
• CI/CD and containerized environments
• React/Next.js (full-stack role)
• Production SaaS application experience
• Microservices architecture
