Engineer II

About this role

Correlation One seeks an Engineer II to build and deploy high-quality software features and services for a workforce development platform. You'll work on migrating prototypes to production-grade cloud services while collaborating with a remote team across Latin America.

What you'll do

• Build and ship features and services within the team's technical architecture
• Migrate rapidly-prototyped applications into production-grade, well-architected cloud services
• Own development tasks with some ambiguity and ask clarifying questions
• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering excellence standards
• Write and update technical documentation
• Collaborate across the team to deliver quality work at a steady pace

What they're looking for

• Software development (2-3 years professional experience)
• Python or Java proficiency
• Relational database design (Postgres)
• Version control and automated testing
• Remote and asynchronous communication
• Cloud-based services or microservices (preferred)
• React frontend development (preferred)
• Non-relational databases and unstructured storage (preferred)
