About this role
Counsel Health, an AI-native healthcare startup, seeks an Analytics Engineer to build and own the semantic layer of their data warehouse. You'll create trusted core metrics and data models that power dashboards, products, and strategic decisions for a rapidly scaling company with $35M+ in funding.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain semantic layer with core business metrics for clinical, revenue, and operational outcomes
- Orchestrate dbt pipelines with alerting, CI/CD, and data quality testing
- Develop reverse ETL pipelines to feed modeled data back into production systems
- Implement and maintain HIPAA-compliant access controls for sensitive healthcare data
- Define data standards and patterns as the first dedicated analytics hire
- Translate business requirements into well-modeled, reliable data architecture
