About this role
DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations seeks a Design Engineer to develop high-voltage substation structures and foundations that meet regulatory codes and customer specifications. You'll collaborate with project managers and customers to deliver compliant designs while coordinating with internal teams throughout the design lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Perform conceptual, preliminary, and final design of high-voltage substation structures and foundations
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with project managers and customers to gather and validate project requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate designs into overall project delivery
- Review and validate designs against customer specifications and industry standards
- Support project execution from design concept through completion
