About this role

Enigma Aerospace seeks an Aeronautical Test Engineer to lead analysis and testing of autonomous fixed-wing aircraft across all phases from benchtop to flight operations. This cross-functional role combines aircraft design, simulation, flight testing, and system integration to validate aircraft performance and readiness for demonstrations and sustained operations.

What you'll do

  • Lead analysis and testing of aircraft and flight subsystems across benchtop, ground test, and flight testing phases
  • Contribute to next-generation aircraft design through simulation and evaluation
  • Collaborate with software, avionics, systems, and engineering teams on flight system validation
  • Perform instrumentation and telemetry work to monitor aircraft performance
  • Support flight software modifications and avionics integration
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for demonstrations, exercises, and operational flights
