About this role
Cribl seeks a Partner Sales Engineer to build technical excellence within their VAR partner ecosystem, serving as architect, mentor, and enablement leader. You'll design partner certification programs, mentor SEs through sales cycles, and help partners launch Cribl-powered service practices while maintaining seamless alignment between Cribl and partner teams.
What you'll do
- Serve as architectural expert for national VAR portfolio and integrate Cribl into partner reference architectures
- Design and execute technical enablement strategy including workshops, bootcamps, and certification paths
- Shadow and mentor partner sales engineers through live deals to build confidence and accelerate revenue
- Support partner co-selling efforts with technical demonstrations and Proof of Value guidance
- Help partners develop profitable observability and SIEM optimization service practices
- Travel up to 30% for partner workshops, events, and quarterly business reviews
What they're looking for
- Telemetry and data pipeline expertise (logs, metrics, traces/OpenTelemetry)
- JavaScript and Regex for data transformation
- Linux operating system proficiency
- Cloud data architectures and object storage (AWS S3, Azure Blob, Snowflake, MinIO)
- Enterprise systems engineering or technical professional services background
- Sales engineering and technical mentoring ability
- IT operations and enterprise security knowledge
- Remote work experience
