Software Engineer, Core Platform

About this role

Cribl is seeking a Backend Engineer to join the Core Platform team and help build scalable distributed systems for processing telemetry data at enterprise scale. You'll develop APIs and backend services, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of features from design through production support in a fully remote environment.

What you'll do

• Develop backend systems and APIs for ingesting, processing, and routing large-scale data
• Design, test, and maintain robust code with comprehensive automated test coverage
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into implementations
• Own features end-to-end, including participation in on-call support rotations
• Perform systems-level debugging, performance profiling, and optimization
• Drive initiative beyond job description to help team reach desired outcomes
