Atlassian Cloud Engineer

About this role

Crusoe seeks an experienced Atlassian Cloud Engineer to lead the administration and strategic evolution of their Jira, Confluence, and related tools ecosystem. You'll optimize workflows, implement ITSM practices, drive AI initiatives with Atlassian Rovo, and serve as the primary technical owner for the platform as the company scales.

What you'll do

• Administer and own long-term strategy for Atlassian Cloud suite (Jira, Confluence, Opsgenie, Statuspage, Product Discovery)
• Customize workflows, permissions, dashboards, and automation to enhance collaboration and project execution
• Design advanced reporting and analytics using eazyBI, JQL, and CQL to support decision-making
• Implement and operate ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Problem management, and CMDB
• Lead AI initiatives by building custom agents using Atlassian Rovo and implementing the Rovo MCP server
• Partner with project managers, business leaders, and IT teams to embed best practices and drive platform adoption

What they're looking for

• Atlassian Cloud administration (3+ years enterprise experience)
• Jira configuration (workflows, permission schemes, issue security, field configurations)
• JQL, CQL, and eazyBI reporting expertise
• ITSM processes and Jira Service Management implementation
• RBAC, change control, and release management
• Okta or similar IAM provider configuration
• System integrations and structured data formats (JSON, YAML)
• Atlassian Rovo and AI-driven platform development
