About this role
Crusoe Energy seeks a mid-career mechanical engineer to design and document modular integrated buildings and power distribution equipment for AI infrastructure. You'll translate customer requirements into production-ready 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with codes and manufacturing standards.
What you'll do
- Design modular buildings, switchboards, switchgear, and power distribution equipment using 3D modeling
- Create detailed shop drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions, and O&M manuals with high accuracy
- Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, building codes, and customer specifications
- Participate in design reviews, DFMA/DFx assessments, and engineering change order processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Manufacturing, and Project Management
- Support process improvements and identify enhancements to design procedures
