About this role
Crusoe Energy seeks a Mid-Career Mechanical Design Engineer to transform customer requirements into production-ready 3D models and detailed drawings for modular integrated electronics buildings and power distribution equipment. You'll create precise fabrication documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across teams to deliver functional, manufacturable designs.
What you'll do
- Design modular integrated buildings, switchboards, and power distribution equipment using 3D modeling
- Develop technical documentation including BOMs, assembly instructions, and O&M manuals with high accuracy
- Deliver shop drawings, product submittals, and as-built drawings with full traceability
- Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, building codes, and customer specifications
- Participate in design reviews, DFMA analysis, and Engineering Change Orders
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams on technical issues

- Building codes, energy codes, and UL listing interpretation

- Design for Manufacturability (DFMA) and Design for Excellence (DFx)
