Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing & HVAC

About this role

Crusoe Energy seeks a Level III Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC, cooling, and plumbing systems for modular data center facilities and power distribution equipment. You'll translate customer requirements into detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, focusing on advanced thermal management solutions for engineered-to-order data centers.

What you'll do

• Develop heat load calculations and specify cooling equipment for high-density compute environments
• Create detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and size piping networks
• Produce technical documentation including BOMs, assembly instructions, and specification sheets
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory codes and customer specifications
• Participate in design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing, and Engineering Change Orders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturability, cost reduction, and structural integration
