Process Engineer

About this role

Crusoe seeks a Process Engineer to bridge design and manufacturing operations by owning the data architecture and processes that drive efficient production. You'll design BOM structures, manage product configurations, audit manufacturability, and continuously improve the engineering-to-production workflow to support scalable, complex hardware assembly.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain standards for complex assembly data structures, including phantom BOMs and make/buy logic
• Lead product configuration strategy and ensure ERP systems accurately reflect engineering changes and design options
• Audit engineering releases for manufacturability and develop design guidelines to prevent recurring issues
• Develop end-to-end process documentation, SOPs, and decision frameworks for engineering data management
• Analyze and manage engineering change orders with attention to technical risk and production cutoff timing
• Create KPIs and automated audits to monitor item master and BOM data health and drive continuous improvement
