Software Engineer, Control Plane

About this role

Crusoe seeks a Software Engineer to build and scale the control plane for its AI-optimized cloud infrastructure. You'll develop microservices that manage distributed compute resources globally while ensuring high availability, low latency, and operational excellence for massive AI workloads.

What you'll do

• Build and optimize scalable microservices powering the control plane and resource lifecycle management
• Implement IaaS backend logic for high-throughput, low-latency API responses in large-scale cluster provisioning
• Collaborate with Product, Networking, and Storage teams to deliver differentiated cloud features for AI/ML customers
• Improve observability, testing coverage, and reliability of distributed systems through clean code and robust CI/CD
• Investigate production issues with SREs, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term hardening fixes
• Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and onboarding of new team members
