About this role

Crusoe is seeking a Software Engineer I to join its Cloud Network team, building and operating cloud network infrastructure for AI compute workloads. You'll develop cloud network features alongside experienced engineers, learning distributed systems and network engineering while contributing to scalable, reliable solutions in a fast-growing energy-first AI infrastructure company.

What you'll do

  • Implement well-scoped cloud network features and contribute to larger engineering projects under guidance
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in design documentation for assigned features
  • Engage in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback, and contribute to architecture discussions
  • Test and help roll out software across the stack from bare metal to user-facing APIs
  • Actively learn network systems and distributed computing through mentorship and collaboration
  • Participate in cross-team initiatives like tech talks and open source exploration
