About this role

Lab37 Robotics is seeking an Electrical Systems & Harness Design Engineer to develop and maintain the electrical distribution systems and harness designs for their robotic food production systems. This role will involve translating electrical architecture into detailed designs, supporting prototype builds, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in a related engineering field and a strong understanding of electrical systems principles.

What you'll do

  • Migrate existing electrical designs into an enterprise E-CAD platform.
  • Translate system architecture into schematics, harness designs, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues.
  • Support prototype builds and testing, ensuring alignment between design and physical systems.
  • Partner with harness suppliers and production teams for DFM/DFA and production release.
  • Maintain configuration control and ensure accurate production release of electrical design documentation.
