About this role
Atoms is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize production processes for their innovative Physical AI robots. You'll focus on improving efficiency, quality, and ergonomics across various facilities, working closely with technicians and engineering teams to implement data-driven solutions. This role demands a blend of hands-on experience, analytical skills, and the ability to translate insights into practical process improvements.
What you'll do
- Design and implement assembly lines and station layouts.
- Analyze manufacturing flows and identify areas for improvement using time and motion studies.
- Optimize production floor layout and material flow.
- Drive continuous improvement in build time, yield, and ergonomics.
- Design and build production tooling and fixtures.
- Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
