Core Network Engineer II

About this role

Cubic³ seeks an experienced Core Network Engineer to support and expand their global telecommunications infrastructure serving 200+ countries. The role involves troubleshooting network incidents, implementing integrations, and maintaining uptime for critical telecom systems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Support and troubleshoot core network elements including HLR/HSS, DRA, STP, and IMS systems
• Analyze network incidents and perform root cause troubleshooting
• Develop, implement, and monitor network infrastructure projects
• Expand network monitoring capabilities and ensure consistent system uptime
• Act as primary contact for vendors and internal teams
• Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring with team members

• 3GPP network elements (HLR/HSS, DRA, STP, SMSC, GMSC, IMS, PGW, OCS, PCRF)
• Telecom protocols (GTP, Diameter, MAP, Radius, SMPP, SIP)
• Network troubleshooting and incident analysis
• Telecommunications integration implementation
• Wireshark network analysis
• Scripting languages
• Technical documentation
• Problem-solving and independent task management
