Core Network Engineer II

About this role

Cubic³ seeks an experienced Core Network Engineer to support and expand its global telecommunications infrastructure serving automotive and IoT solutions. You'll troubleshoot network incidents, collaborate on integration projects, and maintain uptime for critical 3GPP network elements in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Support and troubleshoot Cubic³ core network elements and incidents
• Develop, implement, and monitor network infrastructure projects
• Expand network monitoring capabilities and ensure consistent uptime
• Serve as primary contact for vendors and cross-functional teams
• Conduct knowledge transfer with fellow engineers
• Participate in on-call rotation and out-of-hours support

• 3GPP Network Elements (HLR/HSS, DRA, STP, SMSC, IMS Core, PGW, OCS, PCRF)
• Telecom protocols and interfaces (GTP, Diameter, MAP, Radius, SMPP, SIP)
• Wireshark network analysis
• Network troubleshooting and incident analysis
• Telecommunications integration implementation
• Scripting languages
• Technical documentation
• Problem-solving and prioritization
