AI Adoption Engineer

About this role

Drive real adoption of Cursor within enterprise engineering teams by designing and executing high-impact experiences like hackathons and immersive developer events. This post-sales role focuses on shifting how large organizations actually build software with AI, measured by genuine behavior change rather than event volume.

What you'll do

• Design and run customized hackathons, Developer Days, and cohort-based programs within customer organizations
• Build repeatable facilitation infrastructure including playbooks, rubrics, and retrospective templates
• Partner with Deployment Managers and Customer Success to identify and deliver the right adoption intervention for each account
• Demonstrate credible technical presence with developers—troubleshoot code, follow codebases, and showcase Cursor capabilities
• Capture adoption outcomes and transform them into customer success stories and broader company narratives
• Identify patterns across engagements and feed insights back to the Customer Education team
