Full-Stack Software Engineer

About this role

Cyvl, a Physical AI company transforming infrastructure intelligence, seeks a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build scalable applications that help governments manage public infrastructure. You'll own features end-to-end, working across React frontends, backend services, and cloud infrastructure to deliver intuitive tools powered by computer vision and AI.

What you'll do

• Build full-stack features from React component interfaces to APIs and data layers
• Design, document, and maintain scalable APIs with end-to-end ownership
• Work with containerized and serverless cloud environments
• Collaborate with design, product, QA, and DevOps teams on user-facing features
• Participate in architectural discussions and establish engineering best practices
• Ensure systems are testable, observable, and performant

• React and modern front-end toolchain (TanStack Router, Vite, pnpm/Turborepo)
• JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end practices (hooks, context)
• Backend services in Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript (Cloudflare Workers, Hono)
• RESTful and GraphQL API design
• PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Git workflow and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Cloudflare)
• Data visualization and geospatial tools (Mapbox, PostGIS, Deck.gl)
