Manufacturing Engineer - Installations

About this role

Daniels Health seeks a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the planning, procurement, and installation of process equipment and utilities at medical waste treatment facilities across North America. This fully remote role involves managing facility builds and upgrades from design through commissioning, with up to 50% travel for on-site oversight and system verification.

What you'll do

• Develop installation plans and coordinate equipment procurement for medical waste treatment facilities
• Oversee utility integration including steam, air, water, and electrical systems
• Manage construction coordination and contractor oversight from permitting through startup
• Serve as technical liaison between design, procurement, construction, and operations teams
• Conduct equipment commissioning and provide operator training
• Travel to sites to verify installation quality and system performance
