About this role

Dark Wolf seeks a senior Data Engineer SME to architect and govern enterprise-scale data platforms for defense and intelligence customers. You'll establish data architecture strategy, design high-assurance systems for classified environments, and advise government leadership on mission-critical data initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Architect and lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise-scale, high-assurance data platforms and data mesh topologies
  • Serve as principal technical authority on distributed systems, lakehouse architectures, and real-time analytics
  • Establish enterprise-wide data security standards, encryption protocols, and zero-trust governance frameworks
  • Define strategic roadmap for multi-cloud, hybrid, and air-gapped data deployment methodologies
  • Interface with agency leadership and customer executives to align data capabilities with mission objectives
  • Mandate and oversee security compliance posture and risk mitigation strategies
