DevOps Engineer

About this role

Dark Wolf seeks a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain a Kubernetes-based DevSecOps Platform as a Service for a DoD customer. You'll deploy critical services, implement security best practices, automate infrastructure, and ensure compliance with DoD policies while working in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Deploy and maintain critical services across on-premises and cloud-native architectures
• Implement system hardening and configuration management aligned with cybersecurity standards
• Automate environment provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps practices
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms across multiple environments and classification levels
• Provide onboarding and technical support to development teams
• Ensure platform compliance with DoD policies and support disaster recovery planning

• Linux server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu)
• Kubernetes configuration, deployment, and security
• CI/CD automation tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI)
• Identity Management and SSO (OIDC, SAML)
• Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting (Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Security scanning and vulnerability tools
• Network and endpoint administration
