About this role
Dark Wolf seeks a mid-level DevSecOps and cloud security engineer to secure containerized applications and cloud infrastructure across AWS/GCP environments. The role involves vulnerability assessments, compliance maintenance, zero-trust architecture implementation, and close collaboration with customer teams in a hybrid setting.
What you'll do
- Conduct technical evaluations of system designs, containerized applications, and cloud architectures with focus on security and accreditation
- Perform vulnerability assessments using tools like SonarQube, Snyk, NeuVector, and OWASP ZAP across pipelines and containers
- Review software installation requests and assess technical risks within Kubernetes environments
- Maintain continuous authorization (ATO) by implementing DISA STIGs via Ansible and hardened Dockerfiles
- Implement zero-trust network architectures and traffic management using service meshes like Istio
- Monitor logging, metrics, and tracing via Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and related observability tools
