Platform Engineer

About this role

Dark Wolf Solutions seeks Platform Engineers to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting DevSecOps and mission applications on Kubernetes. The role involves managing cloud-native architecture, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring high availability and security across multiple environments in a hybrid Herndon, VA position.

What you'll do

• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platform services on cloud-native architecture
• Integrate Kubernetes platforms with enterprise security services to meet organizational requirements
• Implement secure automation, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on latest technologies
• Develop best practices to improve deployment quality and velocity

• Kubernetes and Docker
• AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Helm, Kustomize)
• DevSecOps processes and tools
• DISA STIG compliance and configuration management
• System hardening and troubleshooting
• Agile and Scrum methodologies
