Platform Engineer

About this role

Dark Wolf seeks a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based services in Northern Virginia. The role focuses on building secure, scalable cloud platforms for DevSecOps applications with 50% on-site requirements in Falls Church, VA.

What you'll do

• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platform services on cloud-native architecture
• Integrate Kubernetes with enterprise services to meet security and compliance requirements
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, automation, and monitoring solutions
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Develop best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud infrastructure advancement

• Kubernetes deployment and management
• AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Snyk)
• CI/CD pipeline design and deployment
• DoD cybersecurity and compliance requirements
• System hardening and STIG compliance
• Service mesh and identity management
