Secure Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

Dark Wolf seeks a Secure Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy hardened baseline images for a medical technology client, ensuring compliance with federal standards like DISA STIGs. You'll automate security configurations across Windows and database systems while managing CI/CD pipelines and container security in a hybrid role at their Herndon, VA office.

What you'll do

• Design and create hardened 'Gold Images' for Windows Server, Windows 11, and MS SQL with DISA STIG compliance
• Automate security baseline deployment using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform scripting
• Manage centralized artifact repositories and CI/CD pipelines for secure container image publishing
• Analyze vulnerability scan results and remediate configuration drift across infrastructure
• Collaborate with offensive security teams to validate image resilience and perform threat testing
• Develop and maintain security documentation for policies, configurations, and exception handling
