Forward Deployed Engineer - Full Stack

About this role

Join Databricks as a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers on implementing data and AI solutions using the Databricks platform. You'll lead end-to-end technical projects spanning architecture design, data engineering, ML/AI integration, and application development while embedding with client teams to drive measurable business impact.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver production-grade data and AI solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices
• Lead architecture decisions for end-to-end data pipelines, ML/AI models, and applications across distributed systems
• Embed with customer teams to understand technical and business challenges, providing guidance from ICs to executives
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, support) to scope work, resolve issues, and incorporate feedback into the platform
• Build reusable accelerators and frameworks that scale across customer accounts and influence product roadmap
• Travel to customer sites approximately 20% of the time for hands-on project engagement
