About this role
Datadog seeks a Developer Advocate for Service Management to bridge engineering expertise and community engagement in DevOps and incident response. You'll create technical content, build compelling demos, and partner with product teams to establish Datadog as a leader in observability and service management across SRE and operations communities.
What you'll do
- Serve as subject matter expert on incident response, on-call management, workflow automation, and operational practices for Datadog teams
- Produce multi-format content including demos, blog posts, conference talks, webinars, and open-source contributions to build market reputation
- Collaborate with product engineering to develop demos and coach internal teams on effective communication and presentation
- Engage with open-source communities to drive messaging and develop new Datadog integrations
- Contribute product feedback, documentation, or code to improve Datadog's service management offerings
