Field Engineer

About this role

Decagon seeks a systems-focused engineer to build internal tooling and data infrastructure that keeps User Operations aligned with Product and Engineering as the platform expands. You'll design automated workflows, feedback loops, and dashboards that replace manual processes and enable teams to scale rapidly.

What you'll do

• Coordinate product launches across internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution
• Architect launch-readiness systems that automate workflows and replace ad-hoc processes with dashboards and alerting
• Develop feedback loops connecting support, product, and engineering to integrate customer insights into strategy
• Prototype solutions using ChatGPT, Jupyter, Retool, and similar tools before hardening with Engineering
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Operations on launch alignment
• Identify rollout risks and propose solutions to safeguard customer experience and service levels
