About this role

Deepgram seeks a Network Engineer to architect and optimize global network infrastructure supporting real-time voice AI services. You'll design low-latency solutions across hybrid cloud and bare metal environments, manage routing and edge strategies, and ensure millisecond-level performance at scale.

What you'll do

  • Architect global network for real-time audio streaming with latency optimization across regions
  • Design CDN and edge computing strategies to bring processing closer to end users
  • Configure BGP routing, peering relationships, and multi-cloud/bare metal networking
  • Implement load balancing solutions across heterogeneous infrastructure including GPU clusters
  • Develop latency measurement and monitoring tools to continuously improve performance
  • Plan network capacity expansions and establish security practices including DDoS mitigation

What they're looking for

  • BGP, OSPF, and dynamic routing protocols
  • Load balancing at scale
  • Multi-cloud and bare metal networking
  • CDN and edge computing design
  • Network monitoring and latency optimization
  • Spine-leaf architectures and high-bandwidth interconnects
  • Network security and segmentation
  • AI/ML infrastructure networking
