Software Engineer - Deepgram for Restaurants

About this role

Deepgram seeks a Software Engineer to build backend systems for an AI-powered restaurant ordering platform. You'll design scalable infrastructure for voice AI applications, integrate with restaurant systems, and optimize performance in challenging real-world environments.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain scalable backend systems for automated order-taking platform
• Integrate backend with ML models, voice AI pipelines, and client devices
• Build and maintain integrations with POS, loyalty, payment, and customer data platforms
• Monitor and optimize production system performance
• Run experiments to validate product impact and improve AI pipeline performance
• Implement system design best practices for reliability, security, and maintainability
