About this role
Support DoD cybersecurity accreditation efforts for a Software Factory implementation, leading RMF processes and continuous authority to operate (cATO) initiatives. Champion modern security practices within government systems while navigating DoD approval workflows and contributing to open-source solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead accreditation efforts aligned with NIST-800 series requirements and DoD standards
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls for compliance
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate threats
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and government stakeholders on security integration
- Perform security testing and evaluation using tools like STIGs and ACAS
- Prepare accreditation documentation including System Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
