About this role
Create comprehensive technical documentation for a defense software platform serving military and government users in disconnected environments. You'll translate complex system designs into installation guides, operational runbooks, and training materials for both administrators and end users across diverse deployment scenarios.
What you'll do
- Author installation guides, admin/operator manuals, troubleshooting runbooks, and release notes aligned with product releases
- Create step-by-step deployment documentation including prerequisites, verification steps, and rollback procedures
- Document day-2 operations workflows such as upgrades, configuration changes, health checks, and failure modes in constrained environments
- Develop symptom-based troubleshooting runbooks with diagnosis steps, root causes, and prevention guidance
- Manage Git-based documentation workflows including templates, pull requests, and information architecture
- Support development of training modules and job aids for different user personas
