About this role
Delta Solutions & Strategies is hiring a Software Engineer in Colorado Springs to develop and maintain high-fidelity Missile Warning training software. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and preferred experience in HLA/RTI-s, space systems, and missile defense domains.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain software for high-fidelity Missile Warning training systems
- Implement and integrate High Level Architecture (HLA) and Runtime Infrastructure Scalable (RTI-s) solutions
- Design and work with Federation Object Models (FOM) for distributed simulations
- Collaborate with domain experts in missile warning and defense communities
- Troubleshoot and optimize software performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and software quality assurance processes
