Software Engineer - Applied AI

About this role

DevRev seeks a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to build AI-powered integrations and automations connecting the DevRev platform with customer tech stacks. You'll spend 70% coding solutions using TypeScript, Python, and modern cloud platforms, while 30% engaging directly with customers to design and deploy custom AI agents, webhooks, and real-time integrations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, integrations, and automations connecting DevRev with customer systems via APIs, webhooks, and real-time architectures
• Apply prompt engineering and semantic search optimization to enhance AI agent accuracy and performance
• Build knowledge graphs integrating DevRev with SaaS and non-SaaS platforms for seamless data synchronization
• Write SQL queries, analyze data, and create dashboards to surface actionable customer insights
• Develop rapid prototypes and conduct live technical demos, iterating based on customer feedback
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer success teams while traveling up to 30% for on-site implementations
